What kind of furniture can I get from you?
Refurbished vintage armchairs and upholstered furniture, primarily from the 50s and 60s. I restore and reupholster them, often using eye-catching patterns. Each piece of furniture is a one-of-a-kind item with a history. Because these are used goods, the limitation period for claims for defects is reduced to one year from the date of delivery.
Can I have a piece of furniture custom-made to my specifications?
Since we are a small workshop and not an upholstery studio, I do not offer custom designs or made-to-order upholstery. The pieces of furniture available here should all be considered small works of art, created from the artist's vision ;-)
How do I care for a restored piece of furniture?
It is best to clean the piece of furniture carefully with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Most upholstery fabrics can also be cleaned using standard household upholstery cleaners, though you should always perform a test on an inconspicuous area first. It is important that no chemical substances come into contact with the wooden parts, as this can cause the paint and varnish layers to peel off.
Can I wash my bag in the washing machine?
The bags and all other products made from upholstery fabric scraps, such as
cushion covers, are made for everyday use and are quite durable. They are suitable for a gentle hand-wash cycle at 30 degrees without spinning.
What is a trowel pocket?
A practical bag designed for sauna ladles. These bags are a useful accessory for all sauna masters. They provide optimal protection against damage and make it easier to transport sauna ladles.
What is Hanzo Aufguss style?
This is my husband's brand, which we are using for our own collection for the sauna world. This includes infusion pants, tank tops, hoodies, organic T-shirts, caps and beanies, waiter's pouches, drinking bottles, and much more.
What materials are the sauna kilts made of?
Made of 100 percent cotton. Each kilt is an eye-catcher with a Japanese pattern. Since the fabrics are brightly printed, it is important to care for them properly. They are suitable for machine washing up to 30 degrees and ironing at a maximum of 150 degrees. Please do not bleach and do not tumble dry.
What sizes are available?
T-shirts and hoodies are usually available in sizes S to XXL. The kilts are only available in 2 sizes - S (45 cm long) and M (55 cm long). Otherwise, we have some products that are one-size. The exact selection can be found on the respective product page in the shop.
