A. Right of Withdrawal – Instructions

Introduction

Consumers are entitled to a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession:

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item of goods.

You may use the attached model withdrawal form, although this is not obligatory.

You may also exercise your right of withdrawal online via the website at https://www.thingsoutsidethebox.eu/vertrag-widerrufen/. If you use this online option, we will send you a confirmation of receipt of such a withdrawal without delay on a durable medium (e.g., by email), including information on the content of the withdrawal declaration and the date and time it was received.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and, in any event, not later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods back before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. The direct costs of return will be estimated at a maximum of approximately EUR 60 for each such item, with respect to goods which, due to their nature, cannot normally be returned to us by post (freight goods).

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

General Notes

Please avoid damaging or soiling the goods. Please return the goods to us in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If applicable, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage using suitable packaging.
Please do not send the goods back to us postage unpaid.
Please note that the above points 1–2 are not a precondition for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
